Seagull Chick

He'd fallen from a nest very high up on a college rooftop. Several attempts to get him back failed so my girlfriend kept him at home in a spare bedroom for a few weeks before not being able to cope with the noise and mess - these things don't half shit !!
Took him to a local bird rescue centre after he'd posed for me in my daylight studio !

We kept him going on a constant supply of cat food which came out the other end as fast as it was going in.

Well I'm glad you didn't get an action shot! :D
I think you've captured the dichotomy of the fluffy chick and the vicious pillager really well.

Well done, Bill! I can only imagine what a mess it must have made. It seems they are up against an impossible task to keep themselves well rounded and fed, judging by their digestive talents...

I really like this portrait. A pretty rare one, I am sure.

Interesting shot because you don't get to see a close-up of such a young chick. Very well done. I find it funny that a young chick which makes the perfect lunch for a cat got fed cat food to survive...
