I also thought immediately of a commercial series, you know, "A Century of Levi Strauss" or such, presented in a very vintage way with b&w silver prints. Mind you, they would immediately object to having their logo blurred, but hey, if they're not paying...
As part an ongoing series, I think this shows a lot of potential. As a complete series I am not so sure, several of the photographs are very close in composition and impact. I think you will need to bring in more variety, if you do wish it to be a series making a broader statement. My suggestion would be to try to explore the boundaries a bit more, and... get you a hot model in dem jeans
A very good beginning to an interesting exploration!
P.S. you may find that wide open bokeh has less of a tendency to make moire-like patterns with the jeans texture.
I'd love to see a broader series, like Keith, that you could have alot of fun with..hell, imagine how much more fun yard sales and flea markets could become . Great idea
