i love this.
trout are beautiful and smart fish!

i love the contrast between the wood grain
and their coloration, scaleless bodies and fins ...

Nice, very hmm.... organic. Perhaps too tight of a crop, I would like to see more wood and the end of the tails. Great color and texture.

Brad - I haven't had smoked fish in ages. My dad made a smoker out of an old refrigerator when I was a kid and used to smoke Walleye and Northern Pike in the summers.

I was so mesmerized by the fish I failed to mention how beautiful this is compositionally and the colour. My apologies. I would love to see more....... and good luck eatin.'

This is wonderful ! Gorgeous colours and the light on the slimey skin is lovely.

Have done lots of fish pics myself and they're one of my favourite subjects
