+1 on all the above. I find a good fog adds an air of timelessness, something it most certainly does here. Very nice!

Thanks for your comments. Fortunately we have a lot of fog here, most of the time ;-). These photos belong to a series on the "festive melancholy". I'll be posting more of them. I'm curious to know what other people think of them, because I believe the way I approach the subject might be too personal.
