Lots of experimenting going on here. I use the chamois 542 paper and made an 8x10 print, then bleach/sepia, then selenium. This is a real adventure. I like the color and grain of the bleach alone, and then it seems that the toner smoothes out the grain. Getting the right combo is a real challenge. This paper is wonderful and a real sad day when it was discontinued. If anyone knows of a replacement with the same texture, I'd be much obliged. The texture is just right for a 16x20 print.

Great shot. I like the understated quality of the composition and do a lot of experimenting as well. If you want to try something really fun try Wolfgangs carbon toner instead of sepia. It's expensive and addicting but does great stuff on anything with a lot of texture.
 
I keep coming back to this one. Lovely colour and texture. I hope you don't mind me saying, but there is something of a Gene Laughter bromoil about this image. Very beautiful!

This is a very beautiful print.
I loved the old 542 and will not part with the prints I made with it. I have some 542-II I'm about to try and will let you know what it's like.

A lovely beach study and the choice of paper / technique is spot on. Good to see an example on the chamois 542 paper as well, I am hoping to use some of this myself soon. A series of your beach studies printed like this would look superb!
