I really like the progression of tones from upper right to lower left. The water is so smooth. It should make a very luminous print.

Nice sense of movement and a really pleasing crop. The only thing that distracted me a little was the relative brightness of the whole area between the two trees at the upper right of the frame - I assume that it just the way the reflections fell...

This is a winner John. Just marvelously executed. I can connect so easily with your way of seeing. Also, I think you have the foundation here to go even further, if you wish, with this negative in printing. Again, great job.

Thank you all for your kind and useful comments. As this is a negative scan, and not a print (I rarely print small enough to scan), making the print will likely address some of your comments which I agree need to be considered. Still, it's good to get feedback from raw scans, as they, like contact prints, lead to wise printing decisions.
