I like the 'mad scientist' notion above. I am utterly impressed with your printing abilities, as well as your willingness to share how you got there.
I keep fumbling with sepia/selenium/thiourea/halo-chrome, and will order some gold toner when the finances allow. Wonderful stuff.

That is and interesting statement Wolfgang. Even the masters would tell you that not everyone knows everything and that they are learning something new all the time. I am glad to see someone of your ilk lay down this comment.
I feel comforted that I have a lifetime of learning ahead of me with this analog photography. It is truly an art in an artists hands and you as well as many other members here are on a high level.
Your work in particular is quite beautiful.
