see the difference !!?? from constructive and plain stupid and annoying comments
as in Keith's comment and some chicken shi... posted bu some newbie that has had no way to post work in 4 years hmm I am sure his work is well great I guess
Eric is correct. Gustavo seems to experiment and with experimentation you get winners and losers. The best part is that he has the balls to post his work and he sure as hell doesn't hide. If I thought this image sucked and I knew Gustavo well, I might PM him and give him my thoughts or tactfully post as others have. If i wanted everyone to know that I thought I was the shit I'd post here that I think the image sucked. The funny thing about that is that you wind up looking like a dick.
Jiggler, I would love to see a shot of your hairy ass. What I recommend you to do is to get a scanner (I can send you one if you want) and place your butt cheeks on it.
I doubt you will able able to take better pictures than that.
Please, send me the size of your ass as that will help me to send you the right flatbed size.
I am traveling, but when I get back, I will start experimenting with ass scans. I do not want any criticism of my art. If you don't get it, just politely reserve your comments.
You think my photo is technically deficient in some way - well that was my intention! The composition could be improved - well that was my intention. The subject matter is banal, the lighting is bad, the girl is ugly - all my intention! I compelled you to make these comments about my photo - it is ART!
Been following this discussion and have a few observations.
Firstly, I'm not sure Gustavo's picture works - but I think that this is more to do with some of the practical things other posters have mentioned: composition, clarity of purpose. That's why we all post images here, to get helpful criticism and pointers that help us reflect on our own work. I know that I've had feedback to some of my pictures that make me look at things in a different way.
Secondly, Jiggler is just being rude. It's fine to hold an opinion, it's not fine to broadcast this opinion in a public forum in a way worthy of a spoilt teenager.
What works for me: Exposure seems fine althogh, for some reason, there seems to be greater contrast on the left side of the photo. The model is clearly attractive and the pose is okay - albeit with a slight distorion of perspective that makes her a little bum-heavy.
The things I'd suggest as improvements would be to get more 'square' to the model to avoid perpective distortion and to de-clutter the surroundings which I find more than a bit distracting. The vignetting also needs to go - but you could do this with a bit of judicious cropping.
Not a great image (and I'm not saying I could do better) but with a bit of work it could be very good indeed.
over 800 hits on this image, nudity certainly draws attention..The trouble I find with the image is that I am missing the message behind it. I find all the elements included a bit distracting, I think simplifying things and concentrating on the nude would make a better photograph. Many here comment on other peoples work and do not post there own, I like the fact that this photog has the courage to try.
