I made the negative a couple of years ago but could never reproduce the drama in print which I felt standing on this hallowed ground... Last night I decided to go for it in lith! With a 2.5 minute paper exposure and 20min 1st dev and 1.5 min. 2nd dev. and 4min selenium tone I believe I have approached what I felt...
Perfect treatment for this image! Your way with the lith process somehow seems to combine an early primative look with an elegant sophistication. Well done, sir!
I keep coming back to this.... It is amazing!! and 20 mins is up there, but I can remember getting 45 and 50 minute times with the old Oriental Seagull graded paper using very dilute Novalith in the early 90's when I first played with lith.
