elephant skin

I made the negative a couple of years ago but could never reproduce the drama in print which I felt standing on this hallowed ground... Last night I decided to go for it in lith! With a 2.5 minute paper exposure and 20min 1st dev and 1.5 min. 2nd dev. and 4min selenium tone I believe I have approached what I felt...

If that was mine I'd mat it, put it in a gallery & buy more materials with the proceeds. Excellent.

It looks like an excellent print, Miles, but I'm relieved to know it's not in your backyard!

Bill, lol ... I like the way you think...

Wolfgang, believe me when I say I'm not patient. I didn't know any better  . I thought " Lith guys" work their magic with long developer times in highly dilute chemistry. Come to think of it. I'm still trying to figure out when to dump the first tray of (highly dilute) dev. it's pretty red?!???

Thanks

Thanks John, ha ha ha, Florida never looked like this I assure you.

This is just incredibly beautiful! You guys are making me crazy with these fine prints. I have to try this lith printing. Wow those colors are great! Ronald

Wow Miles, great image! Dramatic lighting, interesting shapes and subject, and great composition.
