Great - or could be great. Something is wrong with my monitor or with your scan. I have no blacks, but in photoshop after a screw it looks really beautiful

Wolfgang, I think it is the scan. I rebuilt the file after scanning again and resubmitted. That said, this paper does have a slight texture that maybe the scanner is fussy with?

I am relieved. Well, I know this problem with matt or grainy textures. Sometimes, one stands in front of the options, structure or contrast. The texture is visable and the rest I add in mind

Looks lovely on my screen - nice blacks, good highlight detail and a beautiful gritty/sandy texture.
Looks like an etching.

I rebuilt the scan again after changing the levels to match the matt paper. Seems real close now to the print... I also had to clena the underside of my scanner platen due to weird patterns formed from outgassing plastic and electronics vapor!
