Snake Bridge

4x5 shot of the pedestrian "Snake Bridge" here in town. From the outside it looks like a rattlesnake, complete with an 18' tall tail, a head and fangs. The shadows were interesting at mid day, but it is pretty hot to be under a dark cloth now. Mad dogs, large format photographers & Englishmen.

Edit: Forgot to mention, sbr 8 measured from thick shadow in the center and bright pavement reflections. Polarizer might have helped a bit on some of the glare. Want to try this again with a few different things. Filter and a bit less contrast.

Great patterns, I like it and it's good to see things being built with both form and function.
Winter over here, trying to stop the fogging on the GG at the moment!
