This should be an ordinary "Baby Shot"; it is not. There is a texture and emotional content that sets it FAR above "the usual". Beautifully done.

I think the softness works well, the photograph communicates very nicely. She seems very calm and content, which is important to me as a viewer.

That Delta 3200 is very nice film, especially in medium format.

Wow!! Thank you all for the kind words, she is our first child so we are pretty excited. George, I wont be giving up trudging up all those mountains but at least for a while I will have to stay closer to home. And you right, I have something new to shoot!

I will get into the darkroom sometime in the next week and try to print this one.

Beautiful picture of your very cute new addition. Take lots of pics as this will be over so quick at the stage she is at. I cannot believe my daughter is 5 already and seems like yesterday when I could hold her like this.
