the monument

Colorado national monument in Grand Junction CO. I was puzzled by the look of this lith print. After getting used to the look that Slavich paper usually gives me, this print came out with little "lith" look except for the sky. The developer was well used, at least 10 prints through 1.5 liters. This print also came out of the developer real fast which surprised me (not complaining) I normally get more lith look and longer snatch times with well used developer, but this combo was doing the reverse. Is this normal? it's new to me:) It was a contact print and much of my other liths are enlarged but I can't think that would matter. Oh well, I like it anyway:) Any answers or explanations from the gurus would be appreciated:) erik

Thanks Guillaume, so this result is to be expected? I've just never had it happen before.

Yes Guillaume, I'll savor that bottle and store it next to the jar labeled "magic mushrooms"

thanks Mark, it was a new surprise for me - chalk it up to the twilight zone I guess:smile:
