slavich wall

My first try with slavich lith. Thank you Guillaume for your advice (grade 4)!
Ok, I´m still fighting with this paper, it´s somewhat capricious. Or should say I, it would have a opinionated character? It is harsh and mousy by nature - sometimes I like that, mostly not. I enjoy Guillaume´s, Mayfair´s, Thomas´ and Erik´s liths, but I have difficulties to do it in this way. The softie will fall flat on his face when he tries to jump too high. Cobbler stick to your last?

I don't see the problem with your approach Wolfgang, this is terrific - maybe a little grittier than you normally do but very nice indeed! erik

Looks like the German cobbler is doing just fine on a Russian last:smile: Great match of image and technique

Highlights are controlled, and the contrast in the shadow is great. I don't see any problem.

this is graphic and succinctly gradated ... wow ... well done ! BTW I ust finishing the "book" on lith ... if I could achieve some of this I wou;d be happy ....

wolfgang i think this is wonderful! well done. i have to work on getting those deep blacks with slavich...i fail miserably with that paper but every now and again i get one that blows me away and so i continue trying.

Incredible! It's absolutely gorgeous. And I'm very humbled by your sentiments.
