Thanks so much for the great response, everyone. I've been thinking about doing this project forever, and I'm glad I've finally gotten to it. As I've mentioned, these people are the folks I see pretty much every day. You could set your clock by the who's entered the bar. In fact, at my friend Tim's suggestion, I'm considering including each person's regular bar time in the titles.

Jordan, one of the inherent issues in this project is that the regulars come in when they come in, and I'll never convince them to change their routine for me. That means at times shooting in very low light and crowded conditions, which can lead to technical issues. This was one of those images. The focus is actually OK, but the lighting conditions weren't as sharp as they were in some of the other images. I actually don't mind that; it follows the lead of the subjects.
