Faces on the Wall

This slide film was put under my replenishment tanks in my lab and left for 2 years. over that time small amounts of liquid and moisture dirt and grime have worked magic on the emulsion and this is what resulted. the original image was of a bill poster on a wall in Sydney known as "The wall" an area for the Sydney sex worker trade attract clientele. I have reversed the orientation of this image do you think it is off putting with the text towards the bottom?

In all regards this is simply great! Colour, texture and the subject matter are just seductive! I really like your experimentation Stephen, don't slow down!

Stephen, I really like it. The text doesn't put me off at all. To me the deterioration of the film is perhaps symbolic of the decadence of humans involved in the sex worker trade? To me it's a pretty powerful statement knowing the background.
