Superior Moonrise (Do-over#2)

Okay, I've tried a few renditions of this print and did experience some mottling on prior versions. I am not sure what was going on, but the negs were not bad when I viewed them. Could have been some paper anomalies. I took what I thought was the best neg and made this print last night. I think it's the best version I've made of this particular scene so far... I am trying to slow down and go through all my negs from this trip with a fine toothcomb to make sure I eek the best images out of them.

I prefer this to the last print you made. I didn't like to colour of the last one too much.

This is really gorgeous. I love the little catchlight reflection of the moon next to the rocks...Evan Clarke

Definately worth all the effort, Andy...I love how the ice on the foreground rocks makes them look like large "Petoskey" stones...Beautiful!

Thanks everyone for the support. Don, these iced rocks do look like Petoskey stones now you mention it.... I bought one for the wife while I was at Photostock last year.... I thought these rocks looked a little like sponges too.
