From the recent APUG Joshua Tree Get Together in February. This was the Friday night campfire exposed for 32 minutes at F11 on T-Max 400 under a nearly full moon.
very nice photo, declark! I especially like the trails that flash lights made.
I have fond memories of camping in Joshua Tree as a boy in the mid 1960's. This series of photos brings back memories. Now that I live in Texas, it's a little harder to return.
Thanks for all the encouraging comments. Oddly enough out of 15 shots all under moon light, I really didn't expect this one to turn out so well. It was definitely the happy accident and I didn't think that with a 32 min exposure that I would have caught anyone standing still, but I guess we were frozen around the fire.
