This is a shot of the moon near saturn last month. Taken with a Nikon F3 body on my telescope. Focal length 1200mm
1/4 to 1/2 second at f/8.
I'm not too sure of the exposure time as I didn't use a shutter - just waved a dark card in front of the telescope. Ilford FP4+ developed in PMK Pyro and printed on Oriental Seagull grade 3 paper. Print exposed for 180 seconds with saturn dodged out for all but 25 seconds.
180 seconds? Wow. I've never thought of mounting a camera body to a telescope. Again, I find it amazing. I love this forum for seeing everyone's different ideas and ways.
