Dotting the Kentucky landscape are barns painted black. This one is part of the Shaker community that has been preserved as a living museum. A beautiful place to visit
Nice work, Daniel. The scan has a nice touch of detail in the shadows which makes me think the print itself just sings. The lighter, small branches set against the barn make it for me.
If you are ever in the area (central Kentucky), consider staying for at least a day or two. There are rooms available for guests and once you get a permit to photograph inside the buildings there are plenty of wonderful opportunities.
