Stunning composition, the linear perspective draws the eyes into the picture with the the tracks converging at the vanishing point that is right on the "third", the strongest place in the picture.
The use of tones with just black and whiteand no mid tones is very sriking ,and adds to the impact greatly that makes best use of the monochrome medium that would be lost in colour.
