The Faceless Future of Photography 268-011

2008 and political correctness has created a number of challenges for me (and many others) as a (portrait) photographer and so I have created a body of work called "The Faceless Future of Photography" : a cry for freedom of artistic expression and to save the photographic history of our cities, lives and lifestyle.
Nicole, I actually think the lack of eyes in this photograph makes it more universal and stronger as a message. It's very intimate, feels safe and protective. Very strong work!

Hi, Nicole,In depersonalizing of the picture makes it say a lot more about the human condition as Thomas says makes it not just about one child, but about parental love for their childen in general, the part indicating the whole, theres a term for it that escapes me at the moment. I greatly admire your work, and you have surpassed yourself this time, I don't know what you're taking, but please keep it up.

A-yup... ditto, ditto!
Lovely photo Nicole.

Nicole, please, don't let youself be pushed into any corner because of all this mealy-mouthed PC rubbish! Fight the good fight and stick to your guns. Excellent picture, though!

I'm very sorry I missed your comments, thank you very much for your support. I haven't been around much of late, but have certainly not forgotten you!! Time is so tight and the Australian summer is too nice to be on a computer when you don't have to be and you can enjoy the outdoors.

I love the so-up-closeness of it. The intimacy. The contrast of the little one's skin to Dad's.
