Fountain

To have included the fountain on the right hand side, is to my eyes a major distraction to the main point of focus which the fountain in the foreground. Is it possible to take that shot in a vertical format with your camera? One further point I feel that the photo would be more striking if printed on B&W paper instead of warmtone paper.

Hi Tex, Thanks for taking the time to comment. This was first print so haven't played with it alot as yet and take your point re paper choice will give it a try. Stil not getting the results I visualise when i get in the dark room ;(

Re the composition, there were 4 identical head as shown, I was trying to depict the fountain as a whole by just using 2 heads within the image itself. I made 2 shots the other has the main head in focus and the rear completely out of focus, i actually prefer that one but due to being a plonker the neg is slightly damaged and hence will need to crop heavily.
