I've been looking at this ever since you posted it. I couldn't quite decide about it. I like the composition & all the tone & texture, but there are bright white areas on that anchor that sort of bother me. I think if you maybe dodged that up a wee bit it might 'help' your eye move into the rest of the photo.

Hmmm!! I like the image myself!! I also tend to use an orange filter with my B&W shots depending on the subject and this subject seems to benefit from it!!
