It wasn't intended to be as such Sarah, just that I love this part of the world; making 10 trips there in 2008! This was a gorgeous early Autumn morning and I wanted to try something different. I felt that the sun ought to make the granite breakwater glow. There was little cloud to make a feature of the sky. The traditional yacht anchored in the bay between the Jubilee Pool and St Michael's Mount was a bonus. The hotel proprietor teased me for being clicheed when I explained the shot I'd made.
I did shoot this using Acros Bill, but results are a bit flat really, needing a far better sky. There were a couple having a big argument at the base of the steps below the church tower, presumably still on their 'night out' - however each went their own way just as the light got good.
