Rexford Falls Bridge

This neg has thin shadow detail and few midtones. Past attempts to print for the snow resulted in a very dark bridge to match the dark trees. With recently learned masking techniques I was able to rearrange contrast overall and locally, resulting in a very different print.

This is toned very slightly in thiocarbamide and then blue. Not much of a color shift but I didn't want to overdo it!

Ain't symmetry wunnerful! Quite beautiful, and congratulations on the masking skills. Are you using Lynn Radeka's kit, or something else?

Bravo! It looks as if I were standing there.

You pulled it off well.

A wonderful photography!
The masking kits you are writing about, is there a link to it, or a description somewhere?
