I know, another tree and rock:) Harsh afternoon light on Cochetopa Pass in Colorado. This is a difficult to print b/w neg, but the lith process makes it a little more interesting I think. I love this tree/rock combo and stop by every time I go by it no matter the light:) but alas it is 150 miles or so away. Using up my last stash of Luminos Tapestry.
Thanks for the kind words folks! The Luminos paper is a nice treat, it kind of has a perforated look to the texture throughout, unfortunately it's about gone
Ludo, I'm not sure what is happening with your paper/developer combo so I cannot make an intelligent reply, I don't think that it would be the age of the paper however. I'm sorry I can't be more help. TEX, I kind of see what you mean with the similarity with CDF, I wish I could be as talented!
Very, very nice. I think, I know this kind of scenes. You are arrested by them and they are tough to make interesting composition with just proper contrast. Trees are kings of such a scenes. I was many times at simillar place here, and was wondering how to capture this tree, but after two years, the tree was cutted couple weeks ago.
This print is beautiful, the tones of sky are dramatic and texture of paper is pleasing here.
