A very good shot. Having had experience with trying to take pictures of black labradors, I know that black dogs are tricky to get right.

Very tricky indeed. I've found that his dark coat needs at least an extra stop.

Yup, black dogs...hard to get just right, but you did! Congrats. Also, love the shallow DOF you used. Makes us focus on the dog's face/eyes (which are gorgeous).
