I just bought 3 Pomegranates to shoot but they were partially consumed before I got back to them ... I'm glad ....this image proves that the photograph often transcends the subject itself when it is so masterfully done ... I must learn to lith .... must learn to lith ....

Hi Wolfgang.

I love the composition and textures you've created with the fruit but I'm not a fan of the kitchen drainer as a background as, IMO, the reflections and contrasts distract me from the main focal point.

Beautifully executed, though....
