Winter Shieling

The ruins of part of an old shieling settlement (summer pasture houses) in the Perthshire hills. The tracks in the snow are made by the snow bunting feeding on the grasses sticking out through the snow.

Wow, you know what this reminds me of... Zabriskie point in death valley. There is a similar feeling and lack of scale cues.

Interesting scene in texturing light, well done.

P.S. the snow is coming through a tad grey on my monitor.
 
You are right about the grey snow. The problem was the snowfield top left and the highlights on the buried building are very bright. It would have been better if I had gone for N-1.
