Thanks for comments, they are a great encouragement.
It's my ambition to get a book of my photographs published and I've been trying to gather enough material together for a few years now. It's been a pretty slow process (bad pun alert!) and feedback like this is a great incentive for all those early starts and 3 hour drives...!
Mono - well spotted, that is Stac Pollaidh in the background!
Paul - see http://www.blackandwhiteslide.com/Filmreview.html
Peter - this is a favourite spot of mine too. I've many photographs taken from around here over the years, but I've never had light as special as this before. Also, a dr5 article for B+W mag sounds like a great idea. I'd love to do one, although I'm not sure if it's something they'd be interested in or not?
Gavin, the editor is Elizabeth Roberts and her email address is listed in the magazine as lizr@thegmcgroup.com, so presumably it is OK to contact her that way. I'd put in a link to here and just ask if she would be interested in either an article or even some shots as part of a wider article on available techniques and processes. She can only say no!
Thanks Gavin. Didn't know it was called dr-5. A friemd of mine always reckoned that B&W film could be developed as negative or positive; this proves it. I'll certainly be having a go....
