Looks like they were going at more than a wee pace from this one Gareth, good capture with a real feeling of action. Hope you were wearing your tin hat for this one!

Thanks guys.
It was one of those accidental shots Tony. I turned round saw her, grabbed the camera and shot, no time to check shutter speed etc. When I saw the neg I thought wow, then mmmm when I realised how blurred it was, but eventually decided it was a goer and printed it.
Naw, nae tin hat, the police are fairly calm up here, but were a bit shirty at this point. They had secured access to the main gate to the base and were not playing ball withanybody else lying on the ground around it. Basicaly not arresting anybody. So several dozen folks just melted away, then reappeared but this time blocking the highway. That pissed em off big time. They threatened to arrest me I don't know how many times, but you just try and be polite and back off a bit. Generally things are very good natured at these demos, police included.

Gareth as you know in these situations reactions are just as important as technique and I recon you've nailed this one. I hope this is destined for a large print in your next exhibition.

Great image. Very original. I haven't seen a protest photo similar to this. Well done.

By the way, I think she's enjoying the ride!
