crappy epson scan for now, Flextight X5 Drum Scanner next time?

I had an imacon and I got rid of it. They're nice and easy to use but it's pretty hard to fit a 8x10 neg in it. I've got a drum scanner for the serious stuff.

I also want to get an older drum scanner now that I can afford it. But the Flextight X5 is so compact, I just don't know where to get the $$$ 17 grand $$$ to buy one since I only do this for fun. I use a Nikon 9000ED at home and for travel, I bring some developing chemical, my Nikon 5000ED and a notebook.

Breathable waders. Everyone else had wet feet due to the "dry suits" they rented.
