Laurent that same boat appears in several of your prints. Is it designed for dredging?
 
All three of the boat are great, but this one is my favourite.
 
Thanks for your comments. This series really gets me reconciled with my EOS3, which I did not use a lot in the last years (since I started LF and MF, in fact).

Claire, no the baots there are rebuilt of traditional designs for river Loire. The smaller is called a "futreau", the two bigger would be "toues". They were used for fishing and goods transport. There were even bigger boats ("gabarres") on the river in the 19th century.
