This is from when I used Rodinal as my choice developer for infrared. You could trip over the grain that it produced but I really liked it. I've gone softer since and only use ID11 (1+1) for 13 mins.
Tex your work is inspiring, I am on my 5th roll of Rollei infrared and still can't seem to get the right developer and time combination---I keep overdeveloping the film to a crisp--any suggestions?
Wonderful clouds! I like the gritty sharp grain a lot, and the use of infrared was a good choice too. What I think is the strongest attribute, though, is the movement of most things in the frame to beyond the trees and hills. Well done, Vincent!

Agree grain is always greater with Rodinal but it really suits this image, I find toning the image often softens the harsh grain a little. The sky is amazing here.
