Ohiopyle - Meadow Run

I enjoy the leading lines pulling you into the image. Very peacful

You don't say whether VC or graded paper, but if you have VC, you might try starting with a normal to low contrast filter overall, to help with the contrast on the rock highlights and trees, then use a more contrasty filter in a second exposure to add contrast to the textures in the foreground, keeping them on the darker side. Also, I would burn down the lighter front area.

I found this place (and the waterfall not far away, can't recall its name) while visiting Fallingwater several years ago. I wished at the time that I would have had more time to explore Ohiopyle, and would like to get back there some day.

FirePhoto - the falls nearby is Cucumber Falls (there's a photo of it in my gallery). I'm working my way through Ohiopyle and it's taking awhile. It's just a great place to shoot and just sit and watch. This spot might be my favorite, but it's a close contest. It's really a decent sized park.
George, those are some of the same thoughts I had (and, yes, it's VC). I also wonder if a different time of day would give me more even light (I don't remember exactly when this one was).
