Could I suggest that you straighten up the walls, they appear to be leaning to the left. I think that you could get more out of this neg., have you tried split grade printing. Check out Les McClean on this site for method details. I also like your presentation of your work.

I must say I am not sure what went wrong. I could try to scan it in again. I only have a cheap HP scanner so maybe I placed it wrong in there.

rgd. split printing: I have not been able to do a successful split yet. It always ends up looking worse than just with one filter. Thank you for the encouragement. I might take it back to the darkroom and have a fiddle...never know I might get it one fine day with Les McClean
