So I developed some more film and found some more images suitable for the 'By The Water' series, and I figured I might as well roll while the rollin' is good.
I can never, no matter how hard I try, get these scans to look like the print. The highlights are too gray and dull here, they are glowing in a soft honey tone in the print, but if I change the tone from blue to yellow, everything else turns too yellow... Oh well, I hope you can enjoy.
Well, they look pretty good here. It'd be a treat to see them in person.
FWIW, I've had good luck in Photoshop by tweaking Curves (Apple-M on the keyboard); you can tweak individual colour channels in Curves by clicking on the menu button at the top of the box (to get Red, Green, or Blue). I know that's not analog advice, but it may help you get a more true-to-form scan to post here.
Another really good one Thomas. I love those cobbles at the bottom, the feeling of first light on the rock formations, and the foggy feel. The sepia effect really works here.
Hey Thomas...Thanks for running on past #10...all we can expect from these images is a pretty good representation of the print anyway...everyone's monitor will vary as far as color balance & quality, etc. They look great from here and I'm several hundred miles away!!Keep up the wonderful work.

Thomas,
scanning toned or alternative prints, I have trouble also. But I think we all know this and except the prints that are scanned to be as close as we can get them. If we could do it by scanning and printing then we wouldn't be doing analog photography Justice.
I think you need to go to a 8x10 pin hole and pt/pd printing. your work is so good with this camera I can't see you getting away from the process for a while.

Stunningly brilliant Thomas. Great work yet again with the pinhole. You are really cranking out some stellar images with that camera. Great vision you have!
