That's cool, Bert. It's as if the walls of the church and the cloud behind has exactly the same texture, so the dark parts of the church appear as if it's surfacing from below water.
I like all of that pepper fog. Nice stuff!

The effect Thomas speaks about is very interesting. I can't tell rather the church is surfacing, or receding below the waves. Either way, very unique to my eyes. Splendid image I might also add.

works very well, almost as if you sandwiched the cloud part on the the church giving a mystical look. well it does to me. and I'm not doing drugs either.

Great work Bert. The tones really sing too. I'm not sure that is pepper fog as it just appears gritty... pepper fog is actually quite large dots that would look larger than this.
