There's a very subtle but worthwhile change here. The lamp post now looks like a lamp post and does not now have any resemblance, even in my fevered imagination, for a matchstick man with a large head. I actually liked the effect but it's slight quirkiness wasn't really what the scene is about and was distracting while also intriguing.

I think it is because the lamp post is slightly brighter?

The whole scene is now so light and bright and airy.

The lamp post was brough out by dodging each side about 1/4 stop during the grade 5 exposure.

I think a significant improvement was gained with the Selectrol Soft versus the ID-62A I had been using.
