This is a photo that I took last summer, but haven't finished it until now.
When this shot was taken it was really windy and we didn't plan this shot (hence the underwear and not bikini).
Ellen through some pieces of a sandwich the second before the shot was taken.
I always enjoy seeing your work, and I love the body language, and the feeling of the wind. Maybe because you've posted at the start of September, it feels like an end of summer image with the tinge of colder weather present.
That said, I have one minor criticism. I find the crop at the knee of her left leg somewhat distracting... it draws my eye out of the picture. Just wish I could see the water around that leg the way you can see it with the other, if that makes sense.
I agree with you regarding the knee. It's always nicer to see water around the person or at least not cut her knee off. To my tiny defence is that it was really hard to shot with the LF-camera in the water when it was so windy, so I missed that.
But I love your honest opinion. That's the only way to get better
Marcus, very nice to see you posting here again. I've missed your presence here. This is a great shot, I second Suzanne's sentiments. Ellen looks so confident and at peace with things.
Bra gjort!

quite beautiful, the water the large format camera and the relaxed comfortable pose all work. A little bit more of the legs/water at the bottom and no ducks would have worked better for me. Do you study the work of Jock Sturges?
@gerryyaum: I agree with a little bit more water, but i think that without the ducks the image wouldn't be different. But I really appreciate your comment.
Regarding Jock, I have three photographer that I adore:
Sally Mann, Mona Kuhn and Jock Sturges.
I don't want to say that I try to copy anyone of them, but I'm strongly influenced by them.
