I love it. I am tempted to believe that perhaps 10% edge buring along the entire
left edge tapering to nothing before reaching the boat would possibly make this fine print even better.
I too enjoy this immensely. I agree with Claire that the left side could be burned in to lead the eye through the fjord.
Especially the wave patterns look beautiful. Well done!

thank you very much for your hints. I will try this the next time I am in the darkroom again. It will definitely add to the expression of the print. In fact, I have used quite some sheets already to get this far. But I think the picture is worth it.
The contrast of the negative is very high as I feared to loose too much of the midtones in shortening the developement too much. These are important to keep the texture in the rocks, which unfortunately doesn't come out as nicely on the monitor as it comes on the print.
Looks like an awesome place!
I also echo the above comments. Its frustrating though when you have a good image and its costing lots of paper to get it where you want. Keep at it cos this ones worth it.
