Awa Island No. 2

Awa Island No. 2

After several weeks of nearly constant rain, finally had few hours where I was able to get out for a while.

This is Awa Island located about 12 miles west of Honshu in the Sea of Japan.

I am honestly not sure which one of these pictures work the best, or if either one of them works at all. These are still works in progress so I would love to hear any comments, pro or con.

Thanks for looking.

Gary,
This is the version that appeals to me most. I consider this as a cloudscape which works really well, but I feel that you have more sea than is needed in the shot. I would be inclined to crop out some of the sea, just above that black slick near the bottom. In doing that I find that the island becomes more prominent and the clouds assume a greater impact.
This is just one persons opinion, hope you receive more.

Cheers
Vincent
