Forest Gate

Forest Gate

Anther one from the APUG UK Spring meet. This print was a bit of an experiment. It was sepie (thiocarbamide) toned but with a short bath in dilute developer (PQ Universal @ 1+100) between a full bleach and the toner bath - an idea I got from Tim Rudman's toning book. Seems to have kept the blacks a bit richer than otherwise.

Very 'English' Rob. Lovely textures in the trees.

Well done

The detail within the forest looks more interesting than the wall and gate. Did you take any shots of the woods on their own?

cheers
