Kristen,Lucy, Merick and Me

I shot this image in my final year of high school (2000)
I was 17 and had just purchased a fish eye lens. My best friend Kristen and I used to go out every afternoon. This image was taken at her farm where she had her favorite horse Lucy. named after I love Lucy because of the white heart shaped marking on her forehead.

The Little dog in her hands is called Merick after her favorite radio host at the time. and I appear in the shadows.

8 years has passed since this image. Kristen and I no longer see one another, we don't even talk. I don't know what happened., Doubt I ever will.

This photograph is one of the few that stand as a reminder to what once seemed a friendship that could never be broken.

Stephen:

Share the photograph with her - maybe she too would like to reconnect.

Matt

Nice photo to jog the memory, and I agree with Matt. Why not share the photo with her and re-establish contact?

Apart from the sad but so often repeated background story, I'd like to remind readers that in a wide-angle horse photography situation like this, it is very easy to get horse spittle on the front lens. From own experience ;-)
