Very beautiful, Suzanne. I love to look at the wet plates, they really have a beautiful quality to them. I must correct Andy, though. It's dark slide, not dark side...
I really hope you keep this up, Suzanne. I really like this relaxed photograph a lot!

This is great. Being a human figure my eye is first drawn to the head, and the hat and collodian process suggest it is an old photo, but then I realise the clothes are modern. This temporal ambiguity gives the photo an extra dimension.

P.S. I've just realised the hat may be the latest fashion and the pride of the model, and I've just suggested it looks all out of date and old fashioned. I'm a bloke who knows nothing about hats and no offense was intended. It's a very nice hat. Sorry.

Yes, Vic, it was a great experience, and I'm so glad I decided to do this. I'm looking forward to more... I got his "starter" kit, but I need to work out a film holder for my 4x5, and unfortunately, I won't be going back for the Jamboree next week. That does look like a good time!
