Very nice Daniel. I like the way you've composed but the oof bits bother me a little. Still using fpwt (you lucky bugger)
 
I think the delicate treatment you've given this really lifts the already strong composition. Although very different to his work, it really reminds me of PH Emerson's pictures of reeds and water lillies around the Norfolk area - I think the printing choices hint towards his use of photogravure too. Really nice indeed.

Thomas, I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one to anthropomorphize grasses and trees and such. The recent threads on "seeing" has me reflecting on all the nutty projections I make when I photograph.

John, I agree that the OOF bits are distracting. I was hoping the tonal similarity would help to mask them somewhat. My stash of PWT is sadly dwindling, especially as I've found that it's started to go off. Can't get as much toward the high contrast end as I used to.
