Very popular here in Greece too called "raketes", the plural for "raketa" which is greek for the paddle. Sometimes its too popular, with couples playing the game taking over the whole beach making it it impossible for one to go in the sea or even just lounge without a ball hitting his/her head. Often is a stereotype for the "common, low class Greek".
Good action snap! Are you afraid to take a "real" camera to the beach or do you like the Holga look, (which goes great with the ambiance anyway)?

have to admit it is a boring game a bit. i have years of tennis in not so far past (though never gone pro), but i cannot really enjoy this game. and ya, u always walk the beach in kind of feeling that it gonna hit your head (or even lower?!)
no, i do go with serious cameras anywhere i wanna make a pic... here it is just the joy of using holga...

Great use of the 'plastic fantastic'. This is wonderful, Vic!
