1. untoned
2. thiourea solo; bleach 1+30 30sec toner T3 Vario (setting "e" darkbrown) 30sec
3. selenium (T1) 1+10 5min, bleach 1+30 30sec T3 30sec
4. bleach 30sec T3 30sec, selenium (T1) 1+10 1min
With the three tonings, dilution and time of bleach and toner were identical.
My bleach (contained in Vario Kit) is rather high concentrated. For better controll I usually dilute 1+30 or more. Speed of bleaching depends on dilution and the relationship between ferricyanide and bromide (more bromide=faster).
With warmtone papers I recommend to bleach just the highlights.
Also the used developer can have influence on the result. This is to be heeded with own attempts. Powerful coldtone-developers have advantages in comparsion with browntone-developers, because the silver-density of shadows is higher. In any case it should become develop until the maximum-density of the combination is reached, otherwise the contrast would strongly decrease with extended bleach (until into the shadows).
Strong bleach 1+10 is too fast for partial (light) bleaching.
1+20 10-15sec will generate a hard edge.
1+40 1:30min
1+60 2-3min
The higher the dilution, the smoother will the transitions be.

Tipp: Sulphur toners will tone each finest silver-density - whether visibly prior toning or not.
Therefore notice base and fog. A density more than 0.01logD will generate a yellow stain on the white border. If that should happen (and you don´t like it), bleach the fog away: 1+200 (15sec) or 1+400 (30-45sec) - refix and wash prior first toning step.
